So, tonight is my second and final night at the hostel; we check out in the morning and check into the Lawrence Centre. I'm so excited to see what it looks like and find out who I'll be rooming with!
Today, we pretty much meandered around again, but this time we made it to Hyde Park, and we checked out a museum. We went to the Victoria and Albert, which is a museum of art and design. They had really cool exhibits regarding the cultures of Japan and China, as well as a fashion section and various cool British sculptures. There was also a neat little courtyard with a pool and fountains.
This is the sculpture hall in the museum
Here is a Japanese sculpture thingy called netsuke; they were intricate little carvings used to keep belts with pouches fastened
This is a plaster mold of a Roman column
This one didn't turn out too well, but it's the view of the museum from the courtyard

Anyway, we also walked through a cool college campus right in the center of South Kensington, near the museums. We went through just a small portion of Hyde park, near Kensington Gardens and a pond with a ridiculous amount of crazy swans and geese. After the park we wandered some more and checked out some shops, including a cool thrift shop where I will have to go back and buy fun clothes and shoes.
Well, I've grown tired of typing, so that's all for now!
